Street Spot: 1960 Ford Station Wagon
A regular feature here on The Daily Driver Project is the “Street Spot.” We love seeing vintage cars as daily drivers, out on the streets where they belong. When we see a vintage car worth sharing, we’ll post it as a Street Spot. Sometimes it will be a beauty, sometimes it will be a beater, but then again – even the beater cars are beautiful to us!Not a spot in Southern California!?! What is happening? Well while we were in Connecticut visiting a friend we spotted this family hauler. The 1960 Ford Country Estate Sedan. Do you suppose it was called an Estate because of its size? Heck it had a 9 passenger option. Yes, that says 9 passengers. Just $2837 in 1960. If you wanted to step up even more you could get the Country Estate Squire that had the faux wood paneling. Off to get groceries we go!
