Putting the Vvroom in Vettes

Join us as we examine some of our vintage finds from the 2014 Greystone Mansion Concours d’Elegance…A row of Corvettes will always bring a smile to your face - it always does to ours. Today we are bringing you a quadruple helping of C2 Vettes. The C2 Vettes were produced from 1963 to 1967 and are looking pretty good for being over 50 years old. The C2 introduced independent rear suspension to the car, thanks to Zora Arkus-Duntov, and a lower center of gravity to make this a corner-carving machine.This 1963 Chevrolet Corvette is owned by Michael Vietro of Anaheim, CA and is a real stunner.One of Mickey Thompson personal cars, it is believed that this was his personal driver, specifically used to show off the company's speed equipment. Now this is our kind of rolling billboard!The last year of production of the C2 Vettes brought out fabulous examples like this 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible, owned by Mark Berns from Encino, CA. An interesting note about the 1967 production year - they made more convertibles than coupes, and I say - good call! Especially when they look like this one.Ronald Busuttil of Los Angeles does not own just one Corvette. He owns a pair of 1967 Chevrolet Corvettes. One is a hard top and the other is a convertible in matching colors and trim, and both are all around spectacular.
