Crusin' the Street Machine and Muscle Car Nationals
We recently brought you the indoors of the Street Machine and Muscle Car Nationals. Today we bring you the sunny outdoors and some stupendous cars.We have a passion for wagons and this one is a show stopper. Low and long, this Pontiac is a stunner. This pro-street T-Bird was quite the looker, but as they say the devil is in the details...like the piston lock pulls...and the piston shifter knob. This bird sported the Cragar SS wheels with a spare to match - a nice classic touch.I would have to string together more adjectives than this page could fit to describe how outstanding this Buick is. The fit, finish, and details are out of this world. The Buick symbol was everywhere on this classic - check out the steering wheel! This is by far one of the finest Buicks we have seen at the many shows we attend.Hudsons are few and far between at shows, and this bathtub was a welcome sight.A Kaiser Darrin! We have only seen one at the Petersen. This space-age beauty has all kinds of interesting features, but the coolest one...are the pocket doors that slide into the body! This was one gnarly Nova. It growled past us while we were photographing the white T-Bird and called to us. We followed, of course - it sounded sooooo good! This year's Street Machine and Muscle Car Nationals made for a fantastic first show. We're looking forward to many more years to come!
