We saw this car when we attended the 5th annual Jeff's Fun Run in Tustin, CA, and we wanted you to meet this sleek '65 Ranchero.
This '65 Ranchero demanded attention among all the incredible cars at this show. Owner Tim from Valley Village has a serious passion for his Ranchero, and it shows in the fine details...
Length of Ownership: 15 years, but Tim's love affair with the Ranchero started long before that. Owning one was his childhood dream.
Condition of car at time of purchase: Trashed, with no real interior. The fabric crudely stapled to the door panels made Tim wonder if illegal substances were hiding inside. Even the roof line was rusted out.
Original Color: blue (the current paint job matches the original color) - Tim had originally decided on a full flame job for the Ranchero, but his wife vetoed that idea. The compromise? Pitch-perfect ghost flames that add just the right amount of heat to the cool blue color.
Motor: 289 V8
The deeper story: Tim actually owns one... and a half... Rancheros. He found a Ranchero headed for the scrap bin and built an incredible BBQ trailer out of it that matches his sleek '65.
