Aces Hot Rod Resurrection 2021
One of my favorite shows was Saturday! Saturday morning after checking out Donut Derelicts I headed over to Old World Village in Huntington Beach, CA for the annual Aces Hot Rod Resurrection. It's such a cool venue to have a car show and I do so love traditional hot rods and customs.

Muscles & Mojo at the Murphy Auto Museum 5-16-21
On Sunday I headed up to Oxnard for Muscles & Mojo at the Murphy Auto Museum. The turnout was good but the weather definitely kept people from bringing out their hot rods. It was still a decent turnout with some cool cars and it's always fun to walk thru the museum. Muscles & Mojo is the 1st and 3rd Sunday of every month at the Murphy Auto Museum.

Another fantastic Ruby's Diner Whittier Friday Night Cruise-In. Ran into some friends and checked out some cool cars. An all around awesome evening. I do love that I can drive 10 minutes from my place and go check out some hot rods on a Friday night.

Shiney's 1928 Ford AA Truck
My buddy Shiney has been sharing pictures with me and the world via Instagram about the AA Truck he was building. Heck every time I see him we talk about what's going on with the truck. I finally got to see it in person at a Mitzi & Co. photoshoot this weekend.
Automobile Driving Museum’s Grand Re-Opening-Pinup Contest-Bands-Friends
On Saturday I headed over to the Automobile Driving Museum for their Grand Re-Opening and all the festivities that went along with it. Now I have already shown you all the wonderful automobiles that came out to support the museum and their Grand Re-Opening but car shows aren't just about the cars. They are about the people, both owners and enthusiasts.

Automobile Driving Museum's Grand Re-Opening-The Cars
Saturday I headed over to the Automobile Driving Museum in El Segundo, CA for their Grand Re-Opening. I got there early and caught the cars and a giant Bug rollin' in. The ADM has always been one of my favorite museums and they put on a wonderful show with cool cars, bands and a pinup contest(see tomorrow's post about that).
Caffeine Cruisers 5-1-21
On Saturday I was going to be in the Southbay (that's the Torrance, CA area for all my non-SoCal people) for a show and thought it would be a great time to go checkout the every Saturday show, Caffeine Cruisers. It was a lighter turnout than I expected after seeing a few social media posts about the event but that could easily be because of the show I was going to later that morning.
Frisco's Carhop Whittier Grand Opening & Cruise-In
Friday night I headed over to the new Frisco's Carhop that just opened in Whittier. I remember when there were 2 others. One was in Downey, CA and the other in City of Industry, CA. Both had car events at them regularly and I also remember when they closed. Well a new one has now opened in Whittier right on Whittier Blvd.
