Rare Finds: A Pair of Diamond T Trucks

It is rare to find one Diamond T Truck at a show, but two? That is just crazy! We recently found these two Diamond Ts at The Friends of Steve McQueen Show.FSM14-DSC_0147rAdd to it that these are both owned by Mike and Dee McQueen - a his and hers set, maybe?FSM14-DSC_0148rThis 1937 Diamond T Model 80D is a magnificent resto-mod...FSM14-DSC_0166rrunning a fuel injected small block and the most important part air conditioning. Mike and Dee live in Arizona and really like to drive their trucks, so air conditioning is a must during the hot summer months.FSM14-DSC_0149rFSM14-DSC_0150rFSM14-DSC_0152rFSM14-DSC_0154rFSM14-DSC_0155rFSM14-DSC_0157rThis '37 definitely has the styling of a car more than a truck, but that was Diamond T's goal from the beginning.FSM14-DSC_0159rFSM14-DSC_0162rTheir other truck is a fully restored 1949 Diamond T Model 201.FSM14-DSC_0160rFSM14-DSC_0164rFSM14-DSC_0165rFSM14-DSC_0167rFSM14-DSC_0169rThanks to the McQueens for bringing out their trucks out from Arizona to share with show goers!  These trucks were a big hit with everyone in attendance!There will be more to come from The Friends of Steve McQueen Car & Motorcycle Show, so stick around.
