It's All in the Details: The 1962 Pontiac Grand Prix
Check out this 1962 Pontiac Grand Prix we found at the 2014 OPG Classic Car Show...Owned by Garth Rolfe of Carlsbad, this sleek Grand Prix recently underwent a full frame-off rotisserie restoration.Triple 2 barrels are hanging out on this 389.One of the things we really liked was the shift pattern cast into the center trim. Now there's no excuse for not knowing how to shift this Muncie 4-Speed - not that Garth needs any reminders. Can you imagine how much fun he has driving this?Check out the depth and design in these lines...... that is one curvy, sexy tail light! The cleverly angled and raised lettering on the rear of this Grand Prix makes that detail pop, both close up and from far away.Thank you, '62 Pontiac Grand Prix, for reminding us why the smallest details are often the most important! There's more OPG goodness to come - stay tuned for tomorrow's features!
