All Business: Syndicate Scuderia Willys
We have previously brought you a couple of Americars from the Tribute to Gassers at the Automobile Driving Museum, but we could not pass up bringing you this Canadian beast. That's right, I said Canadian! This 1940 Willys, the Syndicate Scuderia, was originally owned by Jack Williams, who also had the Syndicate Scuderia front engine dragster that were both campaigned in Canada. The car was purchased by Darryl Fischer, its current owner, in 1972 and he continued to race it throughout the '70s.This is an all business cockpit. My favorite is the foot hoop around the gas pedal. We would have to agree with the crew from the Grand National Roadster Show. This is the Best Unrestored Gasser.Check out this great photo of the Syndicate crew competing against each other. There is more to come from the Automobile Driving Museum, so stick around!
