Street Spot: Earthbound Comet

A regular feature here on The Daily Driver Project is the “Street Spot.” We love seeing vintage cars as daily drivers, out on the streets where they belong. When we see a vintage car worth sharing, we’ll post it as a Street Spot. Sometimes it will be a beauty, sometimes it will be a beater, but then again – even the beater cars are beautiful to us!
Like a moth to a flame a gathering of classics will bring out others. While we were waiting for the Corvair Joyride to start the owner of this Mercury Comet rolled up to check out the Corvairs. This thing is no slouch either. A beautiful convertible, which on this gloomy day was still be driven with the top down, damn the rain and full steam ahead.
