Street Spot: Driving a Coffin Nose

A regular feature here on The Daily Driver Project is the “Street Spot.” We love seeing vintage cars as daily drivers, out on the streets where they belong. When we see a vintage car worth sharing, we’ll post it as a Street Spot. Sometimes it will be a beauty, sometimes it will be a beater, but then again – even the beater cars are beautiful to us!
We were leaving this year's Palos Verdes Concours d'Elegance and as we turned the corner, in the distance a ball of sunshine caught our eye.  What could we do?  The chase was on! What do we catch? A stunning Cord, but not classic stock one - a hot rod, complete with ghost flames. We thought all of the automotive excitement was over once we left the show, but thankfully this Cord was out on the street, just waiting to be spotted by us!Hang out for more car chases and vintage goodness!
