Rods, Customs & Rats in the Park 2013
As the weather gets warmer, it seems like more and more hot rods are coming out to play. This past weekend, the city of Huntington Beach hosted a Rod & Custom Show in Central Park, with proceeds benefiting the HB Children's Resource Center. The variety of vintage cars against the backdrop of the lush park on a sunny Saturday made for the perfect show...The flames on this rod were tastefully done in a realistic and complimentary manner, making it one of our favorites of the day.Pearlized orange and white on a classic convertible corvette? That's our version of the orange dreamsicle! It was a treat to see these classic scooters... although we have to admit... we really wanted to see a sheriff on that first scooter. Wouldn't that make getting pulled over worthwhile?A beautiful park, a fun selection of cars, and a very worthy cause made this show a success. We look forward to next year's show!
