RIP Dano
It's been a rough couple of weeks. Hell, it's been a rough 2020 and beginning of 2021. On Christmas day my friend, fellow car nut, and YouTuber Dano was at an illegal street race in Carson, CA when the 2 cars racing lost control, one going into the spectators. Dano was one of those spectators and was killed. Dano was everywhere from Northern California to Arizona. If there was a car event he was going to try and be there with his phone in hand as he filmed and talked his way thru the show. He made thousands of videos and was loved by so many around the world with his signature "Hey, Hey, Hey" that he kicked off all his videos with. He and I would talk about life, social media, and YouTube for hours. He was always pushing to improve his craft. It wasn't just videos, he was also an accomplished photographer of both car events, Huntington Beach life (where he lived), and wonderful ocean sunsets. Goodbye, my friend...

Surf City Classics (SCC Car Club) Memorial Service/Cruise for Dano & Tommy Simpson.
On Wednesday, Surf City Classics Car Club, which Dano was a member of, had a wonderful memorial service for him as well as Tommy Simpson another member of the club that passed away on Dec. 27th. It was so great to see all the people come out to celebrate their lives. Many a friend was in attendance at Lake Park in Huntington Beach to celebrate Dano. The impact that he had on the city of Huntington Beach was evident with the banner they hung over Main Street to remember him. You will be missed my wonderful friend by me and so many others.
