Petersen Breakfast Cruise-In: Star Cars Part II
Earlier this week we brought you the star cars from the Petersen's Breakfast Cruise-In and today we bring you more of the beautiful cars at this event.This sunny December morning brought out some stunning vintage classics.Love the surfboard rear-view mirror!We're suckers for a clean-lined Nova - every time!Not one, but two gorgeous red gullwing Mercedes pulled into the show at the same time!We admired the little details on this Mercedes, like the vintage luggage and checkered seats.This GT350 was the first of two signed Shelbys at the cruise-in.This breakfast brought out a couple of Thunderbirds; first up is this clean-lined white convertible.Across the way was this sleek black version.While taking photos of this beauty, the owner saw the white one and decided to move his car across the way so they could be parked together!This Cobra was very popular with fellow cruise-in members and guests.We loved the patina-perfect finish on this rat rod, from the cowhide seats to the whitewall tires.This Chevrolet Apache was the perfect shade of sky blue, which almost faded right into the background!What I wouldn't give to go for a ride in this speedy little Fiat!I imagine that on this sunny morning, the owner of this XK 140 Jaguar drove home with the top down!The owner of this meticulously maintained '46 Ford Woody was kind enough to let me take a peek inside...The hand-crafted details and wood-work were certainly a sight to behold!This sweet little Morgan was classy, both inside and out. The woodwork and fine details on the dash were absolutely beautiful!Creamy-yellow and filled with classic curves, this Plymouth has been a popular pick for a variety of movies, commercials, and magazine shoots.The emblem details on this Olds 88 are always a favorite of mine...It's not often that we get to see a vintage Volvo out and about!Loved the club emblems and flag detail on this jet-black Austin-Healey convertible.This little Sprite even had a matching license plate!This sleek little Mercury Comet was quite a crowd-pleaser!Putting the bite in this breakfast cruise-in was this attitude-filled Bel Air.Nothing says Happy Holidays, California-style, like this '53 Buick Woody, complete with wreath and surfboard!Early VW Beetles like this one don't show up that often at shows - we loved this clean, light-blue version with its oval rear window.One of my very favorite cars, the Sunbeam Tiger sports a fiery V8 under the hood, making it one powerful little convertible!The Petersen's Breakfast Cruise-Ins are always a great success, bringing out a unique mix of fascinating cars that often rival those on display inside the museum - it's a great way to spend a Sunday!
