A Great Cause - The Dr. George Charity Car Show

I'm a huge fan of the car shows that give back and on Saturday morning I headed out to Indian Wells to checkout one of my favorites. I got up Saturday early and made the 2 hour drive to the desert and to the Indian Wells Tennis Garden. This show fills one of the lawns at the Garden with 1000 automotive contraptions of every shape and size and I can't forget coolness. The goal for this year was to raise $100,000.00 for the Desert Cancer Foundation. Last year the Palm Springs Cruisin' Association donated $82,000.00 to the foundation. That is definitely not a small number and all for a great cause. With a 1000 cars in attendance you will be getting a small taste of what the show has to offer today.
