Grand National Roadster Show 2013: Tiki-riffic
When we walked into the first building at this year's Grand National Roadster Show, we were greeted by hula dancers and Hawaiian music. This year's theme was "Aloha," and cars and vendors alike were encouraged to decorate with the theme.Building 9 housed the “Woodies, Wagons & The Spirit of Aloha” exhibit, which showcased and incredible display of surf vehicles. From traditional to extreme, each wagon would have looked right at home on a sunny Southern California beach. Each was a perfect blend of expert metalcrafting and perfect woodworking skills. There seemed to be a woody or a wagon in nearly every conceivable color... Yet of all the cars in building 9, this is the one I'd take home with me. A perfect blend of modified hot rod and sunny surfmobile, this classic had just the right touch of attitude. We're not done just yet, there's just a bit more of the Grand National Roadster Show to share with you! Stay tuned!
