Friday’s Fun for the Ventura Nationals Weekend
Friday morning I made the trek north to Ventura for the fantastic Ventura Nationals and all the events that surround it. The actual show is Saturday but there is always events going on Friday. In the old days there use to be an art show and cruise on Main Street in Downtown Ventura but as with many cities Main Street is shutdown for outdoor dining. Now for me the show starts as soon as I arrive at the hotel with many a cool car hangin’ out.
This year there were 2 open houses and a sunset cruise. I didn’t make the cruise but the open houses were great. The first stop was at JG Design and Fabrication which was packed and the second stop was the Sloatman Vintage Automotive Open House. 2 wonderful shows and a great way to kick-off the weekend.
