Join us as we examine one of our vintage finds from the 2014 Greystone Mansion Concours d'Elegance...Behold the 1964 Buick Riviera, a revelation in automotive design for its time.  Owned by Dan Gregg of Canyon Country, Ca., this first generation Riviera is quite the collector's car.The Riviera boasted 0-60 in 8 seconds, and topped out at a speed of 115 mph.  The Riviera was a hit at its debut at the Paris Auto Show, and even automotive design legend Pininfarina remarked that it was "one of the most beautiful American cars ever built."1964 became the first year that this R symbol appeared, which later became a hallmark of the brand.Stay tuned as we bring you more of our vintage finds from the 2014 Greystone Concours!
