Dry Land Shark
We are big fans of the 1938 to 1941 Grahams from the Sharknose to the Hollywood. We found this fantastic 1939 Graham Sharknose Coupe at the Palos Verdes Concours d'Elegance. The Graham style of the time was called "Spirit of Motion" for its leaning forward design, which later would be called the Sharknose. This new style debuted in 1938 and won many awards but the sales in the US were not very strong and as things rolled into World War II it did not look like the company would survive much longer.
In 1947 the Graham board of directors approved the sale of the company to Kaiser-Frazer car company and Graham faded out of existence as have many car companies throughout the years. There are more vintage goodies to come so stick around!
