The Big Wait

One of the fantastic events of Monterey Car Week is the Tour d'Elegance. A gathering of cars that are on the lawn on Sunday's Concours d'Elegance in Pebble Beach, but drive, yes I said drive to this event. They start in Pebble Beach, drive around Monterey and even make a loop around Laguna Seca and end on Ocean Ave. in Carmel-by-the-Sea.

Don't think that there are things to see before the show begins. There are all kinds of vintage steel rolling around the blocked off street and parked on the side streets. The craziest thing we saw that day has to be this Ruxton at a service station getting an oil change. Ruxton was one of the cars at this years Concours.There cars will be rolling in soon for the Tour d'Elegance so stick around!
