Automobiles and Rocket Ships

The city of Downey has a wonderful connection to rockets ships, automobiles and cruise-ins and all of those rolled into one at the Cosmic Car Show. Part of The City of Stem Science Festival, a week of fun with science, technology, engineering and math, put on by the Columbia Memorial Space Center.

To help celebrate the Stem Science Festival Bob's Big Boy Broiler put on a car show with a touch of science.  There were some fantastic cars that showed up along with some fun science showcases.
