Autobooks Aerobooks Hits the Road: The 1970 Citroën
Join us as we examine one of our vintage finds from the 2014 Greystone Mansion Concours d'Elegance...Remember our visit to Autobooks Aerobooks in Burbank, Ca.? We fell in love with that place - and spent half a day there. We were delighted to find this 1970 Citroën at the Greystone Concours and even more delighted to learn that this clean little French car is part of their collection. The 2CV France 3 has a serious cult following, having once been called "the most intelligent application of minimalism ever to succeed as a car." Praised for its design and engineering quality, the Citroën was originally produced with rural farmers in mind, in an effort to move them from horses to automobiles. We'd take this little workhorse of a car any day!If you haven't had the opportunity to visit Autobooks Aerobooks, make some room in your calendar. You'll get lost among the aisles of automotive goodness. Their collection will reaffirm your love for cars and make you fall in love with vintage automobiles all over again.Stay tuned for more of our vintage finds from the Greystone Concours!
