Al Slonaker Memorial Award - GNRS

The Al Slonaker Memorial Award was named after Al Slonaker who founded the Grand National Roadster show with his wife, Mary, in 1950. Originally the award was added for other cars that were not part of the AMBR award. In 2020 the award was raised to the same level as the AMBR award with the same prize money and a custom billet trophy.

I've been following on social media this year's winner of the Al Slonaker Memorial Award for a while. It was so great to see it in person. What a wonderful build from the crew over Hollywood Hot Rods. The Pat Gauntt 1932 Ford Coupe is just a beautiful piece of rolling art.

Some of the other contenders for the Al Slonaker Memorial Award.
