50th L.A. Roadster Show: Roadsters, Coupes and Tudors
It's no secret that the L.A. Roadster Show brings out a sublime array of cars...The iconic roadster is a favorite of hot rodders and this beauty can show you why.If you did not know this is a 32 roadster, the grille does a helpful job of reminding you. This coupe is running a flat head between the rails, which by itself is nice...but it is also running Navarro heads and intake and a McCulloch supercharger, which makes it unique and fantastic. There are all kinds of roadsters at the show with every kind of take on the Model A design, and this was a definite standout.A cool little detail, the "1932 Perfect Hand".An original all steel Model A is a unique find, and we are glad the owner brought this one out to share with us.Our vote for the checkered flag winner is this Model A Tudor, which is full of fantastic details...like this cool hood ornament and gorgeous pinstriping.Another feature of this Tudor is a white vinyl top - not something you see everyday on the Model As.The touches of red add a little spice to this rolling piece of art. This Model A is clean, and at first glance is a classic roadster with simple touches, until you really study it.Stuffed under the hood (and I mean stuffed) is a supercharger, but it is pretty cool that it stays below the stock hood.We also liked the wheels that match the interior and the license plate way under the car next to the quick change rear end. There is more goodness to come from the LA Roadster Show!
