Fab Ford Anglia

Tucked away in the corner of the Fabulous Fords Forever show was one unique car...FFF14-DSC_0031ra 1966 Anglia all the way from San Mateo, CA. The owner bought the car in 1973 for $50, yes that says $50!FFF14-DSC_0042rFFF14-DSC_0039rFFF14-DSC_0038rMany a performance upgrade later and we have this fun little driver. Check out the strut brace to stiffen up the car.FFF14-DSC_0051rYou wonder what is up with all the plumbing...FFF14-DSC_0052rit's all for a 30hp wet nitrous system to give the car a little kick.FFF14-DSC_0032rThe simple interior sports Corbeau Racing seats to keep you secure while carving the corners.FFF14-DSC_0033rFFF14-DSC_0049rFFF14-DSC_0034rFFF14-DSC_0037rFFF14-DSC_0045rCheck out those fins and the slanted rear window, reminiscent of the Mercurys of the time. The car was designed in the US for the English market, but many of the cars made their way back to the US.FFF14-DSC_0048rFFF14-DSC_0035rWe are always big fans of the little cars of the '60s and this is definitely a standout. We are looking forward to our next set of discoveries at Fabulous Fords Forever in 2015!
