Tucked away in the corner of the Fabulous Fords Forever show was one unique car…
a 1966 Anglia all the way from San Mateo, CA. The owner bought the car in 1973 for $50, yes that says $50!
Many a performance upgrade later and we have this fun little driver. Check out the strut brace to stiffen up the car.
You wonder what is up with all the plumbing…
it’s all for a 30hp wet nitrous system to give the car a little kick.
The simple interior sports Corbeau Racing seats to keep you secure while carving the corners.
Check out those fins and the slanted rear window, reminiscent of the Mercurys of the time. The car was designed in the US for the English market, but many of the cars made their way back to the US.
We are always big fans of the little cars of the ’60s and this is definitely a standout. We are looking forward to our next set of discoveries at Fabulous Fords Forever in 2015!
