Buckle your seatbelts and put on the cruise control… that’s right, it’s time for us to get our disclaimer on.
The Daily Driver Project is created and is written exclusively by Wesley and Sara Nielsen. This site is where we share our love of vintage cars and the people and events that go along with it. Sure, we may get a few things wrong from time to time, but hey, that’s because we’re non-experts, and humans (good to know, right?).
Our statements (posts) along with comments from us are all about the love – we’re not out to hurt anyone’s feelings. We do not intend to offend any group, individual (or vehicle). We are looking to encourage and grow your love of cars and to keep you coming back for more.
The Daily Driver Project reserves the right to move, replace or remove pictures or content without notification. We are always trying to improve the look and experience for you, our readers.
All photos not taken by and content not written by The Daily Driver Project are credited and linked back to their outside sources are believed to be in public domain and readily available on the Internet (published according to the U.S. Copyright Fair Use Act, title 17, U.S. Code).
Photos or content not credited to an outside source have been produced by The Daily Driver Project and are rights protected. If the photos or content are not linked back to The Daily Driver Project, then that constitutes a copyright violation. That makes us sad… nobody wants to be violated! When it comes to the copyright violation temptation – just say “no.” If you like the photos or content please share it (after all, sharing is caring), but make sure to credit it back to us.
And about that sharing… please don’t duplicate (copy/cut and paste) any of our text (even if you give us the credit). Having the repeat content on more than one website hurts both your and our Google Rankings (they don’t like repeat content). Please summarize, paraphrase or just link back to the copy. We love when people share our stuff, really!
The Daily Driver Project’s design and layout are the sole property of Wesley and Sara Nielsen. Copying or mimicking the appearance of our site in any way is strictly prohibited.
The Daily Driver Project does not accept payment or products from any companies, automotive industry individuals, museums or automotive events we cover. We just think they are interesting and should have a mention by us. Our “sponsors” may at times be part of these write-ups, but we are not writing about them because they are our sponsors.
Sponsors are clearly marked on our site’s sidebar for all to see. All products that are offered by our sponsors are covered under that particular company’s warranties, etc. Any purchases made from a sponsor company are between you and that company. We do not evaluate products offered by our sponsors. We do hope you will buy their products; after all, their support keeps our blog bus rollin’. They are supporting this site, and we like to support them. Anyone else getting the warm fuzzies yet?
When we do have an affiliate link from Amazon (amazon.com), it is clearly marked. It may appear in either the sidebar or in a post. These are usually products we have used and loved or reviewed and found interesting enough to pass along to you. Yes, we do get a small commission if you do decide to buy the product, but that goes right back into the support of this site.
We love to read your comments, but all of them are held in moderation until we can review them and approve them to appear. Please be patient and your comment will appear soon, you do not have to resubmit your comment if you don’t see it immediately. Ever drop a bolt into the compartment when working on an engine? You saw it go in, heard it bounce around, but never saw it come out? That’s like our spam filter. He’s been known to make a comment or two disappear for no good reason.
In the “Check out these Charities” section, you will find organizations that are important to us. We donate time and money to them every year and encourage you to do the same. Just follow the links and spread the good CARma (and by that, we mean donate!).
Did you fall asleep at the wheel? I know we did when typing it, but hey now you know a little more about us and our site. Special thanks to YHL. Questions? Concerns? Did you fall in love with our disclaimer and want to let us know that you two are now dating exclusively? If so, drop us a line: email@example.com
