Crusin' for a Cure 2013
One of our favorite shows each year is Crusin' for a Cure - a stellar gathering of hot rods, muscle cars and other intriguing vehicles. The best thing about this event? It benefits City of Hope's prostate cancer research.
A big part of this show is the cruise, in which cars drive in a loop around the fairgrounds. For both drivers and bystanders, it is a great way to see and hear the many vehicles.
There was a fun section of fire engines at the show, and this was one of our favorites.

This has to be one of the coolest VW paint jobs we've seen yet!
This was an amazing vehicle. It actually had horseless carriage license plates and a hemi-powered horse... that sparkled!
This was our first time seeing an original Autopia car out of it's natural Disneyland habitat.
The details on this car were incredible and went all the way into the trunk, complete with water, oil and gas cans.
One of our favorite details of this pint-sized Metropolitan was its flying lady hood ornament.
Knott's Scary Farm made a showing with this heightened hearse.
What better way than to end our coverage of the show than with with a vintage limo? Cruisin' for a Cure proved itself once again as a fantastic show filled with good cars, great people, and one amazing cause. We're looking forward to next year's show already!
